This story
is written for fun only, not meant to offend any people.
War between Light and
Darkness, the Scourge and the Sentinel, had lasted for a long time. This war
had caused much destruction to the world. Many warriors, wizards, witches,
marksmen, bounty hunters, royal armies, and other brave fighters had joined in
order to end this war. Many powerful artifacts had been created to aid them.
But the situation barely changed.
But there were many epic
events took place during the war. One time, three of the Scourge’s main bases
were captured by only two men. Many said that they were the best swordsmen on
earth. When they fought side by side with their legendary swords, no one could
defeat them.
The Scourge sent their
best fighters with their best weapons to match these men. But even the
strongest warriors from the Scourge with the strongest weapons couldn’t defeat
them.
But suddenly, a warrior
came with his magic hammer which was said to be stolen from Heaven. The hammer
was called Mjollnir, named after the Hammer of Thor. As its name, it could bend
the lightning of Heaven to its will. With this hammer, the warrior went to
fight the two swordsmen.
With a single smash,
their swords were thrown miles away from their hands. Without weapons, the two
swordsmen were just mere humans. They were killed with a single strike of the
lightning bolt from the hammer. Some people found the missing weapons and named
them after their previous owner.
With the loss of the two
legendary swordsmen and with the Scourge having a legendary fighter with
Heavenly weapon, the Sentinel was in big trouble. The table turned. The Scourge
attacked day and night. A base and uncountable casualties fell to the Scourge
every day.
Then the ancient spirits
of the forest around the world decided to hold up a meeting. They created a
mighty, powerful, and yet very dangerous weapon named the Divine Rapier to
counter the Heavenly weapon of the Scourge. This divine weapon had a power
beyond every weapon ever created. Even the slightest cut from it could be
fatal. This weapon was given to the royal knight on Sentinel’s side. With the
weapon, he led his armies to take back what had been taken by the Scourge.
Any warrior dared to
fight face to face with the knight was never heard of again. The wielder of the
Mjollnir feared the knight and wouldn’t dare to face him. All attempt of
assassinations of the knight by the Scourge ended in failure as the Knight was
well protected while sleeping by his trustful and not-to-be-underestimated
servants. Spell couldn’t touch him as he was wearing the charm of Linken’s
sphere which protected him from any harmful spell and his chamber was made by
the same stone that made Linken’s sphere. No people could enter the room
without facing his brave servants.
Years passed by as the
Sentinel was still increasing their streaks of winning against the Scourge.
Peace could be felt around the world. Many great warriors retired and returned
to their homeland to enjoy the peace even though the war hadn’t ended yet.
Sentinel’s progress towards the leader of the Scourge, the Lich King, was
slowed down due to many retirements.
More years had passed and
the Scourge was on the edge of annihilation. But the wielder of the divine
Weapon was in his old ages. He could feel his bone aching when he stood on his
own feet. Legend said that the sword could only be worn by the same blood of
the previous owner while the knight had three sons, one was his sub-leader, the
other was a captain of one of his armies, and the other one was still a kid. If
the sword was wielded by other than that, it would become the weakest sword on
earth that couldn’t even slice a tomato.
Knowing this, the Scourge
managed to corrupt one of his sons. So, the Scourge sent out a big wave of
undeads to ambush the knight’s army in order to capture his sons. The Scourge
lost a lot of soldiers but they captured his second son. He was taken and his
soul was claimed by the Frostmourne, turning him completely into a Death knight
who would die to protect the Lich King.
His father, the wielder
of the Divine weapon, marched day and night to find his son. But sadly, he died
before he found him. The sword was taken away from his eternal sleep. It was
given to his oldest son. His son continued his father’s mission, to find his
little brother.
And the met at the
battlefield as opposing sides. He tried to turn his little brother back but he
couldn’t as his brother’s soul was in Frostmourne’s possession, the Lich King’s
possession. He couldn’t kill his brother, so, in a chance, he gave the divine
sword to one of his soldier who was then ordered by him to take the sword back
to Sentinel’s base. The divine sword was so dangerous that it might
accidentally kill his brother. So, he drew his claymore and rode forth to fight
his brother, intending to capture him. But, he was no match to Frostmourne’s
might. He died on his little brother’s hand.
The sword was returned to
Moonglade. It was intended to be sent to Ashenvale Forest for safe keeping but
it wasn’t hard for the Scourge to locate it and stole it in one night before
the next departure to Ashenvale.
The sword was given to
the second son of the Knight. With it, the tides turned. The Scourge could
finally revenge their loss. They recaptured their bases and massacred every
single men sided with the Sentinel. Things had never gotten this bad.
Within desperate times,
the Sentinel sent a shooter to kill the Death Knight. He succeeded sniping the
Death Knight with his long black rifle but somehow, the Death Knight turned his
wound completely to his advantage and the sniper was captured.
With the capture, the
Sentinel went more desperate than ever. Then the wielder of the fastest sword,
Yurnero the Juggernaut, volunteered himself to recapture the Divine Rapier
after he returned from saving a village from small Scourge attack.
So a great battle took
place between the Butterfly, the fastest sword ever created, and the Divine
Rapier, the divine weapon. Although the Death Knight couldn’t lay a single hair
on Yurnero who moved very fast, faster than normal eyes could see, Yurnero
couldn’t kill him. The Death Knight’s ability to turn damage into life had made
Yurnero in a risky position as he could die if the Divine Rapier touched him.
The damage he put on Yurnero was returned to him by the magic mail the Death
Knight wore, the Blade Mail which was told to be able to return taken damage.
So, Yurnero and his army
retreated. He failed to recapture the sword. As he returned, he was given
another quest. There had been news spread all over the land that the mighty
Roshan had returned from dead. Roshan’s was a figure of rocks bound together by
dark spell. The spell enchanter was a thing within the rubble. It shaped like
shield and it was immortal. People named it the Aegis of the Immortal. After
Roshan was defeated, more like weakened, the shield will be usable. The shield
will protect the wielder from the dead. But when the shield gained enough
power, it would revive a new Roshan. The time of revival was unknown so this
shield was sent away by a young warrior after the war of Magi. He went to the
Cavern of Time and was never heard of again. The Roshan was reborn. Yurnero was
sent to defeat it and use the shield to aid him in recapturing the sword. But
the news was all over the world and Scourge also send the Death Knight to find
the shield before the Sentinel did.
