Pursue Your Dream

People said that if you work on your dream job ( the same as your hobby ) you will not success.
I didn't believe that. But after I heard it and saw it a couple of times in different terms, that turned me down.

But today, my teacher told me One useful thing. That statement is wrong. You will success if you work hard. I agree with that.
He said that if you loved a job, try to be as unique, as creative, and as competitive as possible as it will lead you to success.

So, I remembered about a movie called '3 Idiots'. It's an Indian Film, quite famous.
I'm telling you some part of the story ( not actually the main storyline )
There was a guy who loved photography of animals. He was a fan of a famous photographer. He even had written a letter but didn't dare to send it. But his father, wanted him to become an engineer. His family wasn't very rich but his father worked hard to support him.
He hated to be an engineer. He hated the subject, the teacher, pretty much everything about it.

Now, if you're at his situation, you can't just do what you want because:
1) His father worked hard for him to make him success, so he can't fail or he will break his heart.
2) It's so hard to learn something that you hated from the root.
3) Even if you success, you will hate your job for your life time.
4) But, option number one. Your parents put so much hope onto you.
So you must just get on with your misery of life.

During the final test, the final moment, his friend snatched his letter ( mentioned above ) and sent it. Apparently, the man liked his photos and decided to hire him and made a contract with him for 10 years.
The only problem was how to tell his father, and by the way, today was his job interview as an engineer which he decided to cancel it. His friend told him to use his heart, not his anger.

So, he came to his father. His father had bought him a good laptop for his first job.
"Father, I don't want to be an engineer." He said. That struck his father.
"What? Then, what do you want to be?" His father shouted angrily.
"I want to be a photographer."
"A photographer? 10 years from now, your friends will be driving a great cars and you will be driving your lousy small car and then you will curse yourself for that!"
"If I become and engineer then I will curse you..." His father was surprised.
"If I don't allow you, you will go and suicide like your friend?" ( one of his friends committed a suicide but survived because he was given 2 completely hard choices between his poor family and his best wisest friend who saved his father's life. It was his fault anyway. He got drunk and peed on the headmaster's door. And unfortunately, the headmaster hated that wise friend of his very much and used that opportunity. So he's kind of badass too.)
"No, father. He told me that if I do that, the smile face in this picture will be gone forever and I don't want that." His father was silent. "Please father, just once... If I become an engineer, I will be stressed all the time. If I do this job, maybe I will have a smaller car and smaller house but I will be happy." He said.
After a long moment of silent, his father stood up and asked his wife.
"Can we return this laptop and find a good camera?"
It was a happy ending. ( Of course, it's a movie! But it's a great damn movie. I watched it times! And as usual indian movies, it got songs and dances too. well, it won't matter. trust me! )

So maybe if we do our dream job, we will start from small. It will be hard to get bigger but if we tried hard enough and not giving up on the half way, we will succeed. J.K. Rowling for example, her story got rejected times. If she gave up, she couldn't be as rich as now and there will be no Harry Potter.
They said many success people got kicked out from school. It was because they were unique and different and strange. They were so focused on one thing so they couldn't give enough attention to other subjects. These people are most likely to become success people.

So, don't give up on your dream if you have one. Our job is to reach our Dreams. Once we reached one, we must find another Dream and that's the fun part of it. (Quotes from Disney 'Tangled')
God Bless You
HAND!
