Short story about a couple who never fights but suddenly had the greatest fight of their life.

A lovely couple lived together in harmony as husband and wife. They cared for each other, loved each other beyond word to describe. They had always been coming home early from work to spend time together. The husband was a hard worker, caring and kind although he had minor bad habit it was lovely to his wife. The wife loved cute dolls as she was expecting. There’s one she had been searching but never found it since it was the one she had when she was little and wasn’t produced again.
One day, the wife’s dream job forced her to be abroad for couple years while she knew her husband loved his job here and they already had the perfect home. She was afraid to tell her husband. She didn’t want her husband to worry. She just wanted to spend the remaining time she had with her husband.
But not long after that her husband had been late coming home. Then he was later and later. She was worried and scared. She asked him but he didn’t give much reply. He was drifting away from her. She didn’t want to start a fight so she just let him be for the moment.
Things got worse. She became more apprehensive than usual. Until one day, he didn’t come home for two days and came back the next Sunday morning looking all messy. She was of course furious as few days later she had to go.
She threw everything she had been tolerated so far at him; his bad habits; his mistakes in the past. The husband was very tired at that moment. Having being screamed at, he got furious. He screamed back to his wife for being insensitive and all. She screamed back and then he returned with insult and she insulted back.
Things got even worse until he said that she was being too clingy lately. She replied that she was ‘sorry’ that she wanted to spend more time with her husband before her leave. This petrified him. She was still going on and on for how he had been so insensitive. He took out the doll she had been searching for. That petrified her. He told her that he had been searching for this doll since he knew that she was going away for a long time. He wanted to give her something to remember home, their home when she was away. Tears of course filled the moment. They apologized to each other and then had a great time together before she went away.

This fight of course made them understand each other even more because they had been so honest to each other because of the anger. By this misunderstandings would be cleared. This story is inspired by the sentence, “Good couple doesn’t fight and respect each other.” To me, no fighting means many hard feelings are being kept secret.
